All puppies offered to new homes, have been home reared, they are socialised with other dogs and animals and are comfortable with general everyday occurrences. We are not a commercial kennel and only a small number of puppies are reared each year, our emphasis is on quality and every mating is researched to achieve dogs typical to the breed. All parent dogs have been assessed as to their suitability for breeding and they will have met the health requirements laid down in our Breeders Code of Practice.
All our puppies are health checked and worming programmes are kept fully up to date. Soft non-boned rear dew claws are removed by our vet at 4 days old on their first vet check.
Puppies leaving here for their new homes, receive a large puppy pack, Julestar Kennel pedigree, 4 weeks insurance. Their own portfolio with pictures, breed history, breed standard, medical history, vaccination certificate, microchipped (if applicable), diet, etc.,
If the new owner would like to breed, then the puppy must be assessed as to suitability and standard for that purpose when it reaches maturity and that all requirements have been met as to our breeders code of practice. This will include a BVA Hip score, BVA Elbow Score and other checks should any health or behavioural problems become apparent within our breeds.
Every puppy leaving us comes with follow up help and advice on offer from myself and our forum members
